Terms of Shipping
You are welcome to collect your French inspired furniture yourself from our distribution centres or to arrange someone, or a shipping company to collect them on your behalf. We will let you know a reference code to collect your furniture at our warehouse after full payment is received for your order. Please always allow time for payment to clear in our bank and always have the reference code ready before coming to our centres to collect. No furniture will be released without the reference code.
If the item(s) you are interested in are in Auckland distribution centre, we can deliver your order in Auckland for $75 to save you the time, hassle, and effort of collecting the items yourself.
If the item(s) you are interested in are in Christchurch distribution centre, we can deliver your order in Christchurch for $75 to save you the time, hassle, and effort of collecting the items yourself.
2.3 Out of Auckland and Christchurch:
If you live outside of Auckland and Christchurch, please message us with your suburb and what item(s) you are interested in and we will send you a quick obligation free quote with one of our delivery partners.
3. Delivery terms and conditions.
3.1 Delivery inspection:
We check over your furniture to make sure it is up to standard before we dispatch it to you. It is your full responsibility to inspect the item(s) before signing off with our delivery partners that you receive the item(s) in good conditions. We do not accept any claim or return for damaged item(s) during transportation if you have signed off with our delivery partners.
3.2 If you don’t like a product when it arrives:
We’re sure you will like it, however if you do not you can return it to us within seven working days of delivery for a full refund. Simply contact us with a brief explanation, and we'll arrange for it to be collected by our delivery partners. We will refund you the cost of the item(s), but you will need to pay for the cost of the items to be delivered and collected.
3.3 If the item is damaged when it arrives or you are sent the wrong item:
We check over your furniture to make sure it is up to standard before we dispatch it to you, however damage can occur during the delivery process. If this is the case, please either:
a. Return the product with the delivery company immediately upon inspection of the shipment.
b. Contact us within 24 hours of delivery or as soon as possible, ideally sending us a couple of photos of the damage or other issues with the product. We will assess your complaint and, assuming your complaints are valid, arrange to collect the item from you and either give you a full refund, arrange for a repair, or order you a replacement.
We do our best efforts to provide you with the best images and description, but unfortunately cannot guarantee that colours and details in website images are 100% accurate representations of the product, and sizes might in some cases be approximate. All of our products are handmade so may have slight variations and imperfections, which we believe adds to their uniqueness.
Before ordering from us, it is your responsibility to check and determine your full ability to receive the products. This includes ensuring that the product ordered will pass freely into your room of choice, and that they fit in that room, can be transported through the front door of your flat or room, stairs and doorways, and any other issues that could make the delivery more complicated or impossible to process. Up-to-date mobile telephone number and e-mail address are absolutely necessary to ensure successful delivery of your item.
3.4 Disclaimer of delivery liability:
We do not have delivery vehicles of our own. All deliveries are arranged through 3rd party delivery partners.
We always book delivery for your order as soon as we receive your payment. However, delivery schedule will depend on the delivery company. we can not be held liable for any delay caused by our delivery partners.
The driver who is allocated your order will call you in advance to arrange a time of delivery with you. It is your responsibility to let them know when you are available to accept the shipment.
The drivers can help to carry your items into your home, however they are not responsible for unwrapping and collecting packaging after unpacking. All packaging materials used to wrap/deliver your orders are your responsibility to dispose.
Please note: our delivery partners do not deliver on weekend in most cases. If for some reason they can arrange weekend delivery, there will be extra charge.
